Cameron Grieselding

I'm an Indianapolis-based web designer & full-stack developer focused on crafting clean & user-friendly experiences

┣ About Me ┫

Hello! My name is Cameron Grieselding and I am a recent web development graduate of Eleven Fifty Academy (EFA), a nonprofit code and cybersecurity school. EFA's 12-week immersive learning program for web development is taught with industry-guided curriculum, real-world project-based learning, and is comprised of 500+ hours of logged coding time and training.
Prior to pursuing my coding profession, I worked at the University of Michigan Hospital as a medical assistant intermediate for five and a half years. In this role I supported over 90 healthcare providers and worked closely with nursing, advanced practice, and physicians in the cardiology, aortic disease, neurology, vascular surgery, and cardiac surgery departments. My favorite part of this position was conducting our cardiac surgery pre-operative teachings, which included rigorous attention to detail. Having the unique opportunity to work in a world-renowned hospital has provided me with a multitude of experiences that have encouraged me to grow as an individual and as an employee. I listen and communicate efficiently with my coworkers and motivate them in their work. I lead by example with my ability to interact well with others and facilitate an enjoyable learning environment. I strongly believe that one of the best ways to improve as an employee is getting uncomfortable, healthily pushing yourself, and always being open to learning something new.
Upon moving to Indianapolis, IN in April my career interests began to shift to the technology field as I saw the demand in the job market. I've always really enjoyed constructing things from nothing, creatively problem-solving when issues arise, and being challenged to critically think. After careful deliberation and plenty of research, I found myself enrolling at EFA and becoming eager to learn something new. As a web developer, I'd love the opportunity to utilize my newly acquired skillset, continue to develop my competencies, and be able to put others first at your company.
When I'm not busy working in Visual Studio Code, I love running (I'm currently training for a half marathon), reading, gaming, traveling, wakesurfing, snowboarding, and exploring new restaurants. Want to know more? Check out my resume!
